Men who are adept at handling personal relationships and who view their position as one of responsibility rather than privilege. The success of this unit will depend in a large measure on the organized efficiency, cooperation, and unity we can display in the next few months. Greatly enjoyed the writeup about George, and chuckled at the casualness, the nonchalance exhibited in the picture. The way to beat Prep, my boy, is to keep reminding yourself, and your teammates, not to go to sleep, not to relax, not to get careless, not to make mistakes in the clutch. "Heads up," "heads up," "on your toes," should be your battle cry. Following this line of attack you will find the breaks on your side for a change. One more thing - never let a bad practice or two just before a game discourage you or shake your confidence. It used to be that if I couldn't kick a 60 yd spiral every time the afternoon before a football game, I would wonder if I really was ready. That is foolish nonsense, almost superstition. Frequently, a fellow is hotter than a pistol the day after a poor practice. Its only a belief you know that says you have to practice at all!!
