We have had quite a bit on non-flying weather the past few days - fog, rain, and today, snow. In reality this is a poor place for a squadron to train. The powers that be made a mistake in stationing us here. Doubt if we can be ready to leave in March, for Feb. is supposed to be a bad month around Quonset. Our daily schedule is pretty routine with gunnery and more field carrier. Sorry that there isn't more of interest to write about along this line. Awfully glad that grandma has decided to stay the winter with you and very proud that she is to occupy my room. Why don't you spread one of those double "A" blankets over that bed? Its time they were being used, and I don't know of anyone I would want to benefit more from their warmth than grandma. Please tell her I received her last letter and thanks very much. I continue to be eagerly interested in George and his basketball teams. Keep me posted on how they come out and how many buckets Geo gets and how he is doing in general. Now that he is "on a par" I shall expect to hear of some
