As a I final thought I might add that it is a sad commentary on the American political scene that there is no one on the horizon who can really measure up to Roosevelt in ability and appeal. Would like to have you clip for future reference  this article by F. Davis and the one to come next week; also, the picture by Rockwell and the accompanying text by Tarkington. There are three more in the series. If you should note in the paper or elsewhere another reprint of the Atlantic Charter, please clip that too.
It has been terribly cold here the past couple of days. Yesterday it was 11 below and intensified by a high wind. The moisture in the air makes it doubly uncomfortable. Finally, got some planes started today and started flying again. Had one hop on which only one gun fired but I got five hits - which isn't good, nor bad, but a whole lot better. Believe I am getting the word.
