2 ME 109 didn't think it worth the difference and rode the chair car. He is still quite a bit in debt for his college education, so he undoubtedly showed admirable wisdom - but it was tough ride on a punk train. We arrived in Jax at 1030 the next morning, just two and one half hours late. Leaving most of our baggage at the R. R. station, for which we had to pay storage later, we walked up town and registered at the Geo. Washington hotel. That afternoon we viewed "My Sister Eileen" at a local theatre and found it wonderfully pleasant entertainment. Recommend that you see it if you get a chance. It really must have been a riot on the stage. After supper we saw a movie just as punk as MSE was good. Arising late the next morning I wrote a letter to Ben while Marvin continued to sleep and Bob was out shopping for a topcoat. About three that afternoon we found a taxi
