3 received good long letters from all of you; also a sentinel, sports sheet, application for absentee ballot. Thanks very much indeed. Ran onto reprint of an article from Fortune not so long ago devoted to the rise and growth of the U.S. as a nation. I gathered that the whole issue was dedicated to the same theme. If I remember correctly that was their Xmas issue for 1940 or 1941. Would sure like to have that in our library for reference. Do you supposed you could get a hold of a copy, Gus? Although U. Chas may protest, I think we should pay him some kind of a storage fee. About a buck or buck and a half ought to be about right, I should think. Please tend to that, pap.
