3 sistently do poorer, unless it be singing. However, I crowded my pride back as far as I could & stepped forth to shoot first, just as if I were an ace. I missed the first twelve shots, and I began to despair, as did the instructor. Before moving to the 3rd position I did a little mental work as best I could under the circumstances. At the next two or three positions I did a little better & toward the end I really believe I began to get the word. I plan to go out again at the next opportunity & see if I truly have discovered the trick of it. I intend to write U. Chas in detail about the setup of the skeet range, perhaps, he will pass it along to you. Suffice it to say here, that we shot 6 rounds a piece at 8 different positions.
