home. Judging from the post marks on the letters I have thus far received from you folks, I would say it takes about three days for delivery - not as good as at Pensacola. Mother, I am so very sorry that I failed to give proper recognition to your birthday. In the confusion of getting straightened away here, it completely slipped my mind. Have had quite a time with your & father's birthdays, haven't I? Last year I sent you greetings on April 3rd and this year I forget it entirely! Very sad. Had a note from U. Chas, A. Kate, & Elise Louise wishing me good luck & godspeed. They are so very thoughtful of me. Shall now try to bring you up to date on my activities. When last I wrote I believe that I had just gotten checked
