We get liberty every eighth day, that day varying, of course, for each flight section. Last week Haugebak & I were off from secure Friday until 9:30 Sat night. We drove into Miami for supper, saw a show, took a room at the Patrician Hotel on the Beach, slept late, went swimming, read some, saw another show & drove home. I imagine our liberty hours will follow this general routine most of the time. However, this Saturday which is our night off I am going out to dinner at Jim Carrolls. Mother may possibly remember him in S.S. at D.M years ago. He is a tall, nice looking chap, now married, and an instructor here. Very nice of him to ask me out, and I shall
