5 In re: your letter which arrived yesterday Gus - thanks for the pictures and, also, the telegram - the quarterly & clippings have not yet arrived - it was perfectly right to use the stock dividend to pay the insurance premium - shall look forward to hearing from Dick Boyle, if he sees fit - much obliged for telling me my bank balance (checking acc't) - not very impressive, what? Would like to have a copy of Churchill's last speech to the House if it was printed in the northern newspapers. Had a letter from Jim George a few days ago. He spoke of being home on a 5 day leave a short while back. Sounded awful good. He has been assigned to Mech. Motor Transport which is a laugh and how. He knows less about
