getting together. There are only certain nights on which I can get out, and then only till ten oclock, but what is worse yet, the play in which she has a lead is scheduled for practice six and seven nights a week. From all I can gather Merle has considerable ability along dramatic lines and evidently wants a career. In a way I am getting some of my own medicine. I use to be so busy with athletics that I didn't mind giving up social activities, which I now find is aggravating to those who want you to go out. Must I warn you that I have no purpose or design on this very delightful young woman? I hope not. I only thought you would be interested in such activities of mine. Enclosed are some pictures I took & had taken over a period of about 4 months. They aren't too good--hope to do better next time. Also, you will find the lecture by Miss Middaugh enclosed. Things go well, and I continue to enjoy your letters and the clippings you send. Much love, Nile
