Dear Gus: At present we are confined to the base -- how long this will continue, I don't know -- but assuming it may last for awhile, will you do me a favor. They only issued us 3 pr of black, cotton military sox I need more. Will you send me 1/2 dozen pr. Get them at an army store if possible. The ones I am now wearing are size 11 1/2 -- can wear 11s if they guarantee they wont shrink -- otherwise better the 11 1/2. Things are going well. Niles
