2 Ben must have had a fine time on his eastern trip. So glad he got to go. If it weren't for the war he, evidently, would be all set for a good job. I hope that they will agree to take him on after the war if he enlists in the Navy Air Corps. He sure has been a busy lad in college up to now. I hope he will be able to take it a little easier this semester. He certainly is entitled to some kind of a let up. Col. Pride's letter of recommendation was a honey--and brands him a good judge of men in my mind. Took Miss McKay out to dinner last night at a little place on the south side called Blue Hills. Nice joint, nice gal, nice time. Will try a little more of the same on Thursday of this week. To George, I would say this concerning his desire that you folks not watch him in action. I know just about he
