3 room in Mobile so kept on driving until we hit a cabin camp 7 or 8 miles east of there. Lucky, we were, too, to hit such a fine camp. We got a swell little bungalow with two double beds and a gas heater for 4 bucks. It then being one oclock & still raining, we turned in immediately. We were late in getting up, it was so comfortable to lie in bed and listen to the gentle patter of the rain on the roof. About 10:30 we got under weigh again, arriving at Pensacola at 10 minutes before noon. It was an uneventful last 50 miles except for the miles long caravan of army trucks we met at the crossing of the stream names Styx, which brought a brief debate as to whether we were entering or leaving Hell! The buildings--hangars, barracks, administrative offices, etc--are laid out in much the manner of a college campus. In a great many ways the whole setup reminds me of a university. There is a fine moving picture house, a gym, bowling
