for sustenance. Now, I am just a wee, small man, unobtrusive, timid, easily pushed around, but do you know that some how or another I have been able to maintain my weight! The other evening I sat beside a guy who ate like a maniac. He acted as if he thought it was the last meal he would ever get on this earth. As he feverishly attacked his meal his elbows, jutting out to the side like a novice on horseback, tatooed my ribs with annoying regularity. Finally, with all the sarcasm I could muster, I said, "pardon me, bud, but don't let me crowd you." So help me he didn't even look up, nor did he miss one beat in his timing. It is all rather funny in a rough sort of way. A man hardly knows how to eat leisurely when he gets the chance.
