on this conditioning program they are going to give you boys in Ia City. The more I hear of it, the more I think it sounds crazy. If all they have in mind is to run you boys around the golf course, direct you to chop down trees, etc, I think they are all wet. You would think the aviators were going to engage the enemy in hand to hand combat! So use your judgments, stay in shape, but don't overdue it - and stay away from football or any other of those bruising, strenuous games. I forgot to mention in my last letter that I had made some casual inquiry about hay fever in this part of the country. The consensus of opinion is that it would not be bothersome down here. This is not professional information, however. If I am not mistaken, Billy Stuart is going to join the Navy Air Corps
