2 U.S. Naval Air Station PENSACOLA, FLORIDA inflammation on his wrist last night, so went down to sick bay to have it looked after. Unhappily for him they stuck him in the hospital saying it was not a trivial matter. It really is too bad, for it will put him back in his flying somewhat. Naturally, he is quite disappointed and a bit dejected. Bob and I, minus Ken's company, took our usual Sat night trip to town with the same routing being followed as always. We did a few errands, bought a few things, consumed a steak with all the trimmings, took a stroll up and down the main drag, and returned to the base.
