Gave Jack the car for the rest of the day, grabbed a bite of lunch, noting that the food here doesn't appeal to me as it first did, took some magazines up to Pettit, and then pulling on my blue Navy shorts headed for the beach with R.A. Hobbs. We did loll on the sand soaking up the warmth from the sun, entertaining each other with subtle remarks of one anothers action at the U., now & then pausing in our chatter to eye some shapely girl make her way up the beach. Topped it off with a brisk swim in
