Things continue to go quite well with me, even though at times the routine weighs heavily. Our mess is not nearly as appealing as it used to be. Either it has deteriorated, or I have just become tired of the same stuff day in day out. I consider myself reasonably democratic, but it is hard for me to enjoy fighting for my portion at every meal under crowded conditions very similar to a father and son banquet.
