Wednesday May 27, 1942 Dear Folks, Your long letters about the trip to Ames with all the happiness it held for everyone made wonderful reading. I wish that I might have been on hand to watch Ben get tapped. He must have presented a perfect picture of surprise and joy, for he had written me that he had "missed" and that he was going to act as "stooge" to see that Geo. Wales got there. What a grand spring it has been for him! You must all be very proud. I know I am. That makes two Cardinal Key men in the family doesn't it, Gus? Your modesty throughout all these years is a gentle chastisement for the eager way in which I hasten to tell you of all my accomplishments, little & big. I suppose it it quite
