Iowa State Bar Association Office of the Secretary Paul B. DeWitt Southern Surety Building Des Moines, Iowa August 27, 1940 My dear Mr. Kinnick, I was very much interested to note in the Des Moines Register that you had been awarded a scholarship in the College of Law at the University of Iowa. May I extend to you my congratulations and best wishes for the successful completion of your law studies? This Association is, of course, interested in the future of the legal profession in this state and therefore we are interested in the future of our State University's College of Law and its students. If at any time during the course of your career as a law student I can be of any help to you I hope you will feel free to call upon me. I trust that you will take as much pride in the College of Law as the members of this Association do. Sincerely yours, Paul B. DeWitt Mr. Kile C. Kinnick Omaha Nebraska
