lating back what you read to the subject of the lesson. For instance this Sunday's lesson was "Is the Universe Including man Evolved by Atomic Force?" Well, that is Just another way of asking "Is the World and Man the Result of Materialistice Evolution?" Everything in the lesson should be considered in the light of that question. If you try this I think you will find that it helps. And this theory applies also to your studies in school. Always consider what you are reading in the light of the Chapter heading and the bold face black type. And now in closing this letter I have some more suggestions. You will readily perceive that the advice that I give is motivated by shortcomings in my own make-up. If the shoe fits, wear it; if not, try to be tolerant with my well-meant urgings. Strive always to be articulate in your speech. It is well to speak in a well modulated voice but don't be gutteral and lazy in your enunciation. Speak out clearly and forthrightly whether in debate or ordinary conversation. Make your whole face talk when you speak. Let your eyes be alert and let interest and animation show in every line. Don't be hesitant and circuitous in expressing what you have to say. Start right now to think before you speak out. That will solve a lot of the trouble. Observe how few around you speak distinctly and interestingly. To be articulate, and alertly so, is to stand out in almost any company. It is worth your thought. I am planning to come home toward the end of the month. Until I next see you, "take it easy." I shall expect some kind of a letter from you within a week or so. Don't peter out on me. Yours, Nile
