Tell him for me to strive for courage, honesty, purity, courtesy, unselfishness, kindliness, and above all to strive for the embodiment of love - the demands of which we all shrink from. Love is the whole of life. - The truth of that isn't learned in a minute nor a year - it is the work of eternity. Be not dismayed if you don't "get it" right away. But just remember that the briefest glimpse of its significance does more for one's peace & happiness than anything else! Love to all & thanks for your letter, mother. Yours, Nile
