Friday night Oct. 17, 1941 Dear Folks: 10-17-'41 Just a brief note before I go to bed. I am with the team this week rather than out scouting. The routine tonight was just as it always has been on the eve of a game. We all had a big steak dinner then a movie, and back to the room early. I feel just as if I were going to play tomorrow. Frankly, things don't look too good. We are bothered with a lot of petty injuries, and Wisconsin is due to explode, for they have a much better team than their record indicates.
