Dear Mother: It is nice of George to ask concerning what I would like for Xmas. However, if he has in mind anything that would involve folding money I would suggest he wait until I get home. I really don't think of anything I need. The slippers I have are quite adequate - the barracks here are well heated. Will let you know about Xmas leave as soon as I know for sure. Nile
