Monday night. Dec. 22, 1941 Dear People: It is now definite that I will he home for Xmas day. I shall plan to arrive between 6 & 7 PM on Wednesday. I have taken the liberty to ask Ken to stay for supper, and then plan to let him drive my car up to Logan for the night. Since I will soon see you I shall not write at length. Let me say, however, that I certainly enjoyed the brownies you sent via B. Hobbs - and the sentinel clippings you enclosed in your last letter, mother. All goes well here: I was up for my first hour of instruction on Saturday. Things went pretty well. I should say. I was
