THOUGHT FOR TODAY Nile Kinnick, famed as the best player of the 1939 football season, has a word for today, on the occasion of the quarterly temperance lesson. He says: "I am a teetotaler. I am in no way in sympathy with the use of alcoholic beverages." Yet, there is much drinking among youth. In New York University three out of four young people drink, and a poll of 4,000 highschool seniors in eleven states revealed that 49 per cent are drinkers. Perhaps the example of Nile Kinnick, plus some good, solid teaching in the home and Bible school, and by Christians personally, may help save America's youth before it is too late. "Look out" (S.S. Paper.) FEB. 4 -
