tho of course I would want to talk rather lengthily with him about it. If necessary or if the opportunity presented itself I could work into politics I suppose. Certainly, I think, I would have more time to study and read on those problems in which I am quite interested than I would if I took law which is a terrific study in itself. This isn't just a sudden idea I have mentioned it seferal times before if you will stop to recall. Now this has been hastily and incoherently written because of lack of time but knowing me and my general outlook on things I think possibilby you can understand what I am driving at. At any rate I would appreciate it very much if you would drop a hint or suggestion or something to Mr. or Mrs. Weaver to find if he isstill interested--the quicker the better. If so I could drive out and have a talk with him before school is out if it looked like the thing to do. Please don't push this idea right out the window without thinking it over. I realize that I have told a great many people that I am going into law but can't see that that s hould make any difference if the other looks like the thing to do. Also the claim that my experience and contacts i s a perfect background for law is ok but ability to speak and think logically and knowing a lot of people can be utitlized in business too I fancy. I have hear d both of you say that the important thing is to get into som ething you like and this may be the best course. Anyhow drop a hint take a thought and drop me aline. I am so busy I don't know whether I am coming or going but if I get by this week I should be ok. I had a test yesterday, one today and one tomorrow plus a speaking engagement Thurs nite way up in Ch as City plus a date Fri nite. About those trophies I wish you would let me know as soon as you can inasmuch as Chrisopher Walsh wants some pictures of me with the sweater o and the blanket. I amy have to run up to Adel and get that blanket -- I told him nothing doing on the sweater picture since I was supposed to have given it away and it have publicized in that way. He'll probably go sky high when he gets my letter but I think I am right don't you? He wants them for advertising purposes and offers 50$ -all the players always comply even though it is a terrific racket for him--and I suppose I won't squeak either except on the sweater deal. Feel fine and am anxious to get out and play some golf--am thinking ab ut getting some new clubs and giving mine to Ben then _ we would all be pretty well set. Don't really need new ones but B n could use some to advantage and a sporing goods store in Des Moines has offered me a plenty good deal. Incidentally --a life subscription to the Readers Digest would be anice graduation gift--just a suggestion -- use your own judgement nothing is necessary unless you want ot--you know that Yours, Nile
