April 14, 1946 Lt. Ardis H. Durham Jr. USN 3742 Tangley Rd. Houston 5, Texas Dear Lt. Durham: Thank you very much for your letter of 8 April in response to my inquiry of December 31, 1945 about details of the crash of Nile's plane. The information that you have added tends to complete the picture of what happened that morning, We appreciate your kindness. From your address it appears that you have elected to join the regular Navy. May I wish you success and satisfaction all during your service in an important branch of our military forces, Should your travels bring you near Omaha at any time we should be much pleased if you would plan to call on us. Please regard it as a very sincere invitation. Sincerely yours N. C. Kinnick
