for the dope on Tom Zell, et al. Mrs. Lauden remembered me with a fruit cake again this Xmas. She sent it home and it was forwarded to me. The Laudens are damn fine people; would like to visit them again some time.
I'm ashamed to admit I haven't written to Bibba for an awfully long time. Rather imagine she has given up on me for several reasons. She is teaching in the economic dep't now isn't she? Bet she tries to fill those students full of high ideas and great hopes. Her enthusiasm would almost turn the trick too.
The last I heard Pettit, Enich, and James L. George were still on the west coast. Norm Sandler is in Norfolk - a scout pilot - and about ready to pull out. Ran into him the last time I was down there. My brother finished at Los Alamitos a couple of weeks ago and is now at Corpus Christi. The youngest Kinnick offspring is captaining a pretty fair B.H.S. basketball team. That just about covers all the gossip, I know. My error, one more item - did you know Chuck West got married? Rec'd a notice from him while I was at Jax, and it wasn't Julie; what's the story?
