(Loudon Tennessee) a very rainy day commenced raining last night about 12 - oclock; last night stood camp guard today the guard relieved on acct of the rain this morning I recd a flogging for a birthday present, Ben wrote a letter to Herbert and one to Sag. October 2nd. pleasant day, nothing of much acct transpired went to the river and fired our guns
