signed pay rolls. some cannonding rebbels threw a few shells in the city 23rd very quiet untill night when several buildings burned. went to Hospital to see the wounded 24th. in morning rebbels made a charge on 2nd regt Mich killed wounded & captured about 90. things quiet through the day. 25th. fighting on South side river Capt. Wiltsie wounded. 26th some fighting, I was on camp guard.
