February a Texian rebel (one of the flag bearers) as he was missing from the rest & did not come to them in the morning 14th nothing unusual 15th commenced raining in the night struck tents in the morning at day break & march toward Knoxville halted about 1 1/2 miles out of town regt pitch tents & send out pickets - I am on picket rains all day clears off
