February morning ordered to pack every thing but tents & be ready to march at day light just day light the bugle blew strike tents we struck tents fell in & marched a little after sun rise for Strawberry plains a heavy force moved out from Knoxville consisting of the 4th 9th & 23rd army Corps & probably more arrived at the pl's about 4 oClock P.M.
