May recd a letter from Mother 4th revilee at 3 1/2 oclock morning marched about 5 ock marched nearly all day & went about 7 miles camped on the edge of Tenn about 10 rods from the Georgia line 5th had inspection of guns & cartridges 6th were called out at 12 oClock midnight to draw rations turned in again at 2. o.clock
