it would probably be well for You to Know something further on Business Matters. The cow I had of Spicer; He was to Drive to Charles Rich & when Killed Rich was to allow 14 or 16 Shilling pr Hundred. Luther B. Hill also Gave Some Encouragement of Driving a cow to Rich on My acct which would be accounted for in the same way at two Dollars pr Hundred Youngs was to bring some pork 1/2 or the whole of one Hog - Elder Church will also Bring some pork - He is to be His own Judge How Much to Bring. John Michael; said He would Bring some; if He Does it will be Best to Have Him Leave it for the Large and new Barrel & the old Tub will Hold all that will be Brought withe cow and colt any Emergency that May aris can be arrested by Getting the Hay from Lyman Jinks The first 2 1/2 Tons I Bought of Get it Home or otherwise as father May Think Best - I Think I Mentioned to You or Father that Alonzo King was to keep the cow untill a certain time I think untill the first of March for 1/2 ton of Hay and a certain amount of Corn; Am not positive How Much - Seth W Robinson would Keep the cow for 2 Dollars pr month and perhaps it would be Best to Have Him Keep Her if King fails to Do as He agreed; by Getting Robinson to Keep her the Hay that is at Jinks will be Sufficient to Last sometime in the Spring. I am Not competent to Judge in the Matter Not Knowing what the winter is or May be - I would Like to Have Howell Speak to Lyman Jinks or Peter Johnson to Draw the Hay I first bought of Jinks an put in fathers Barn as Soon as there is a place to Put it; as I Do not Like to Risk it where it is During a Hard winter; if Stephen Pike Has Not Brought any Grain to pay His note He ought to be Dunned but it is not worth while to take much trouble
